AI Automation Without Code: Workflows, Agents and Everyday Tools

Build real automations without writing code: triggers, actions and conditions, AI steps that summarise and classify…

About this course

Much office and small-business work is repeating the same steps: a customer fills in a form, someone copies the details into a sheet, someone sends a message, someone files a document. Automation lets a computer do those steps for you, every time, without forgetting. Today you can build such automations with visual tools, with no programming, and you can add an AI step that reads, sorts or drafts text along the way.

This intermediate course teaches the thinking first: what to automate, how triggers, actions and conditions fit together, and how data moves from step to step. Then you build workflows, add AI steps for summarising, classifying and drafting, extract data from documents, and learn what an AI agent really is. You will also learn the habits that separate a toy from a tool people can trust: testing, error handling, human approval, cost limits, privacy and safe permissions.

The course does not depend on one product. Tools change often, so you learn ideas that transfer, and every exercise has a free option.

What you will learn

  • Explain what automation is and choose tasks that are worth automating
  • Describe any workflow as a trigger, conditions and actions, and map how data flows between steps
  • Build a simple form-to-sheet-to-notification workflow with a free no-code tool
  • Add AI steps that summarise, classify and draft replies, with clear and reliable prompts
  • Extract data from documents and messages into a structured table and check its quality
  • Explain how AI agents and tool use work, and when a plain workflow is the better choice
  • Plan a safe FAQ chatbot for a small business, with a handover to a real person
  • Test workflows, handle errors, add human approval and keep costs under control
  • Protect private data and give automations only the permissions they need
  • Plan, document and present an automation project for your portfolio
