Learn to move around Windows with confidence, organise files and folders, personalise your settings and keep your computer healthy.
Windows is the operating system on most computers in Uganda, and almost everything you do on a PC starts there. This course takes you from the Start menu and taskbar to creating, finding and protecting your files.
You will learn how to name and organise folders so you never lose a document again, how to use flash drives and cloud storage safely, how to change settings such as the wallpaper, language and Wi-Fi, and how to keep Windows updated, secure and running smoothly.
The steps are written for Windows 11, with notes where Windows 10 differs. Each lesson ends with a practical activity, so keep a computer next to you.
