Building Pathways to Opportunity. Preparing Communities for Change.
Lumina Africa Foundation is developing a portfolio of community-centred programs designed to expand opportunities for underserved communities, particularly young people in Northern Uganda.
Our planned interventions focus on three interconnected pillars: Health, Education, and Technology & Innovation. Through these areas, we aspire to promote access to reliable information, strengthen practical skills, encourage innovation and help communities build the knowledge and capacity needed for sustainable development.
Visit to Wii Got Quarry Site
Our Director joined the Delegation of the Northern Region Youth Parliament for a dynamic outreach event at the Wii Got Quarry Site in Gulu City, together with youth leaders from the EU Youth Sounding Board and representatives of the 8th Northern Regional Youth Parliament.
We engaged the quarry youth in stimulating discussions about environmental sustainability and community development while providing them with essential safety gear to keep them safe and sound during all activities.
Northern Uganda lost years to conflict, but we will not lose our future to digital exclusion. Every young person, regardless of certificates or background, deserves the skills to participate in today’s economy.
