Emotional intelligence (EQ) is the ability to notice, understand and manage your own feelings, and to understand and respond well to the feelings of others. Resilience is the ability to recover and keep going after hard times. Together they help you study, work, lead and live with more calm and confidence. This course is for students, young workers, job seekers, team leaders and anyone who wants healthier relationships and a steadier mind.
You will begin with the four skills of EQ: self-awareness, self-management, empathy and social skills. You will practise naming emotions and reading your body signals, then learn simple tools for anger, anxiety and stress, such as pausing, breathing, writing, walking and talking. You will learn active listening, how to read others with cultural context in mind, and how to handle conflict using "I" statements, apology and forgiveness.
Later modules cover teams and difficult people, peer pressure, respect and consent, resilience after failure, money and exam setbacks, grief and loss, burnout, healthy habits, faith and community, and leading with EQ. You finish with a personal resilience toolkit and a 30-day plan. This course is education, not therapy or medical advice. If you feel seriously distressed or have thoughts of harming yourself, please talk to a trusted adult, a counsellor or a health worker straight away.
