Microsoft Word: Documents from Zero

Learn to type, format and print professional documents in Microsoft Word: letters, CVs, reports and more. No experience needed.

About this course

Microsoft Word is the most widely used program for writing documents. Schools, offices, NGOs and small businesses use it every day for letters, CVs, reports, proposals, notices and forms. This course takes you from opening Word for the first time to producing clean, professional documents.

Each lesson is short and practical. You read a little, then you try it on your own computer. By the end you will have made a CV, a formal letter and a short report, and you will know how to review, share, protect and print your work.

The course is for anyone new to Word: students, job seekers, volunteers and small business owners. The steps match Microsoft 365 and Word 2019 or later on Windows 10 and 11, and most steps work the same on a Mac.
