Learn how to choose what to sell, set up an online shop or social selling, take mobile money payments, deliver, market, keep records and grow, with a business plan and a 30-day launch plan.
E-commerce means buying and selling through the internet and mobile phones. In East Africa it often starts on WhatsApp, Facebook and Instagram, grows through mobile money and boda boda or courier delivery, and sometimes moves to a full online shop.
This course follows a seller from the first idea to a running business: choosing a product, pricing it, setting up a place to sell, getting paid and delivering safely, finding and keeping customers, and keeping honest books. Examples use Uganda shillings (UGX) and everyday situations you will recognise.
This is general education. It is not investment, legal or tax advice, so check current rules with the relevant authorities or a qualified adviser before you make big decisions.
